Girl's Day Hyeri Cast as Lead in Cheerleading Film 'Victory'

On March 6, Hyeri was cast in the cheerleading film Victory, taking the role of Chu Pil-seon. It’s her first film since 2019, a return to the big screen after several years of television work.

She’ll lead a squad, not a solo story. Park Se Wan and others are confirmed for the film alongside her. Korean coverage introduced the on-screen group as 혜미리예채파 (Hyemiriyechaepa), a six-member unit pitched as “six members, six colors,” with a lineup running from Lee Hyeri to Kim Chaewon. The reports billed the gathering as a meeting of MZ-generation icons.

Victory is built around a cheerleading team, and the March 6 casting fills in the squad that will carry it. A filming schedule and release date haven’t been announced yet. We’ll share updates as production moves forward.
